After receiving her undergraduate degree in fine art and working for many years as an artist on traditional cel and stop-motion animated commercials and films, in 1999 Linda went to The American Film Institute in Los Angeles to study narrative filmmaking. Arriving at the AFI with a background as a fine artist, Linda initially chose to focus her studies on visual storytelling and the art of production design for film. While attending the AFI, Linda designed more than eight short films including two thesis projects "The Last Attack of The Beast" (Dir. Gerardo Naranjo) and "How I Saved The World" (Dir. Goran Dukic), both of which went on to do well in festivals worldwide. Through her work as a production designer Linda discovered a natural inclination and affinity to produce films. Linda graduated from the AFI with her Masters Degree in 2001. Since graduation she has designed the independent feature film "Nobody Needs To Know" (Dir. Azazel Jacobs) which had its premiere at the 2003 Rotterdam Film Festival and "Malachance" which marks Linda's first feature film in the role of producer.
